We apply a fuel surcharge based on the pickup address. This surcharge covers the entire trip, including the distance from our yard to your location and the return journey to our yard. The surcharge ensures that we can continue to provide efficient and reliable service while accounting for fluctuating fuel costs.
If the distance between pick-up and drop-off locations is more than 10 miles, Double Drive time will be applied to your move. For all hourly moves in the State of California, moving companies are required to charge double drive time. The actual CPUC law is written as follows: "The time shall be the total of loading, unloading and double the driving time from point of origin to point of destination. i.e. If it takes 15 minutes to get from origin to destination, the moving company will put 30 minutes on the invoice as Double Drive Time.
Yes, we offer a variety of packing materials, including boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and tape. Please note that charges for packing materials are based on the quantity used during your move. However, packing materials for larger items are included in the rate.
Our billing is based on the actual time spent performing your move. The time begins when we start loading your items at the pickup address and ends once the last item has been delivered and properly placed in your new home or apartment. Before we conclude the move, we will confirm with you that everything is in order. Once you’ve confirmed that all is set, we will stop the clock at the drop-off location.
We reserve the date first come first serve basis and so it is always better to book ahead of time when we are available. Lot of customers call us last minute saying the other moving companies cancelled the move a day before or same day so please ensure to hire trusted moving companies.
